Mitch’s personal journey began in Denver, Colorado, where he developed a lifelong passion for skiing. As a member of the Vail Ski Team, he specialized in downhill racing and even taught skiing while attending the University of Colorado at Boulder. He says to picture him studying on the chairlifts! His love for the mountains eventually led him to meet his wife, Sandy, finding her lost during a blizzard. She said he saved her life, so she had to marry him. It seems to be working out — they have been married for 43 years and currently reside in Los Angeles.
